Project Description
The Kyiv Ukraine Temple is the first in Eastern Europe and the 11th on the European continent. It will serve some 31,000 Church members living in 13 countries. For members ot The Curch of Jesu Christ of Latter-day Saints, the temple is the house of the Lord – the most sacred place on earth. They view the temple as a spiritual center where each person can feel a special closeness to God. Once a temple is dedicated, entrance is restricted to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The Kyiv Ukraine Temple was announced by Gordon B. Hinckley, the former president of the LDS Church, on 20 July, 1998. Ground was broken to begin construction on 23 June 2007. It is the 134th operating temple of the LDS Church. The formal dedication was on 29 August 2010.

Der Zweckverband Bodensee-Wasserversorgung ist seit mehr als 50 Jahren einer der führenden Trinkwasserversorger in Baden-Württemberg und versorgt dort ca. 4 Mio. Einwohner mit Trinkwasser aus dem Bodensee. Täglich werden bis zu 670 Mio. Liter Rohwasser oder 7.755 Liter pro Sekunde gepumpt. Entlang des ca. 1.700 km langen Leitungssystems liegen 29 Wasserbehälter mit einem Speichervermögen von 474.500 m³
