Project Description
In addition to the existing pressurized water reactors Angra I and Angra II, located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, a third reactor, Angra III, is being completed, with an installed electrical capacity of 1405 MW. French nuclear technology company Framatome (formerly Areva NP) has awarded a contract to supply engineering services, components and the digital instrumentation and control system for the reactor. This also includes assistance in the supervision of the installation works and the commissioning activities.
