Since October 2, 2011 the GPMS GmbH provides consultancy and project management services for the Zweckverband Bodensee-Wasserversorgung in Stuttgart / Germany.
The Zweckverband Bodensee-Wasserversorgung (BWV) Stuttgart was founded in 1954 and is one of the leading suppliers of drinking water in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.
181 members of the BWV supplies around 4 million inhabitants of Baden-Württemberg with drinking water. Every day, up to 670 million liters of raw water or 7,755 liters per second (l/s) is pumped from the Lake Constance into the water supply reservoirs of the BWV members. During the last years, the output averaged out at 4,100 l/s.
There are 29 water supply reservoirs with a capacity of 474,000 cubic meters alongside the pipeline system with a length of 1,700 kilometers. 38 pump stations ensure the supply of water even to most remote regions and at any time.
The GPMS GmbH assists the BWV in the efficient planning, coordination and realization of more than 60 projects for the current fiscal year, the scheduling for the following fiscal years as well as the consolidation of various company and project structures.
