Our most effective project management and project controls ensures full compliance with the defined project goals. Our clients are therefore enabled to delegate all functions in the way desirable to them. This offers the freedom for our clients to fully concentrate on their core competences.

Our project managers and project controllers make sure that all contractual parameters are met.

Regardless of whether keeping the budgets, compliance with the cost and reporting structure, securing and meeting timelines, milestones and project schedule or quality standards are concerned.

Project Procurement

To achieve an optimal success for your project and in order to best comply with the project related requirements an project procurement strategy is essential.

This is where you determine the validation of the scope of work. To ensure commercial and competitive comparability and just in time delivery for instance, together with the achievement to meet the project cost budgets are crucial for a smooth operation and reliable project management.

The project procurement is responsible for securing and supporting a most effective contract and claim management. Both time and cost control as well as change management requires a credible basis to work on. The commercial an contractual agreements with subcontractors and suppliers are therefore substantial.

Contract Management / Claim Management

Contract management and claim management are two functions complementary to each other.

Contract management ensures smooth cooperation and beneficial performance with any third party.

Contract management at a very early stage of your project defines: interfaces, responisibilies, battery limits, clear scope definition and specifications. Milestones and worksflows are described and defined, together with all other legal and commercial terms, crucial to successfully perform the contract.

To manage compliance with the agreed term, identify contractual potential for improvements of your own position, avoidance of surprises and claims and to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, are a most essential success factor in your project.

Claim management therefore is logical consequence. Thereby we focus on the preparation of substantiated and auditiable cases, either in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions or in accordance to §2 VOB/B, enabling you to enforce your claim.

Changes that occur after contract award are very often unavoidable. Here the contract management, in due time, ensures that the original commitments are maintained and the existing documents are adjusted to the actual situation.

Quality Management

The GPMS GmbH has implemented an integrated overall QM/QS System. This QM/QS System is built up and futher developed on the basis of the existing modules.

The System has been set up and implemented in accordance to the DIN EN ISO 9001 requirements. It therefore fully satisfies the criteria of: regulatory, security, economical and quality insurance function(s). Within the QM/QS manual all processes, methods, functions, responsibilities and interfaces are described and defined.

Project Management

Professional competence, creative thinking outside the box and the ability for leadership form the essential basics for our project management.

Thus we recognize and identify disruptions at a very early stage and are prepared to untertake immediate action and provide adequate solutions.

In order to enable our clients to understand and implement those solutions we are used to in time produce management readable pieces of information, keeping the issue simple.

Time scheduling / Interface coordination

We first produce and establish an overall time schedule (master schedule). Thereby applying to the critical path methodology.

This involves all functions and roles performed in your project: engineering, design, logistics, procurement, administration, authorities, subcontractors, commissioning, acceptance.

The actual progress of your project is continously monitored, controlled, analyzed and documented.

Activities, duration of activities and lead times are implemented into the time schedule and logically linked. Prior to the implementation of activities we perform a plausibility check and make sure that communication lines are established and provide actual data and that interfaces are recognized and respected, both organizational as well as by trades. Your specialists are involved in this process and we add our wide and international experience to ensure realistic and achievable milestones and deadlines.

As a result of the ongoing monitoring we identify any deviation or time slipage on the spot.

The critical path analysis of any disruption offers alternative ways and options to undertake measures to secure time lines.
